Jonathan Frahm (Jonno) and Lister Potter III (Zantok) hit the Smashtopia workshop for the first time in the new year to talk about how main protagonists of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Rex & Pyra/Mythra, could work as playable characters in Super Smash Bros. Super Cast Bros. is a podcast series established by two super fans of the Super Smash Bros. franchise.
Aptly titled the ‘Redemption Roundup’, our last Weekly Roundup blog promptly vowed to “resume our curation of actually weekly [sic] Weekly Roundups.” That was on November 30th.
Jonno (Jonathan Frahm) and Zantok (Lister Potter III) are joined by pop-rock artist and big-time Smash fan Jamie Alimorad to decide on two separate Smash or Dash match-ups: Toad vs. Captain Toad and Shadow vs. Zero. They also talk with Jamie about his new album, ‘This is Tomorrow Calling’ and inspiring lead single “Brighter Days”, as well as his experiences meeting Charles Martinet and Reggie Fils-Aime.
Jonathan Frahm (Jonno) and Lister Potter III (Zantok) are rejoined by their good, old friend Trevor (Turbotaxer) to collaborate on a moveset for the renowned Mother/EarthBound villain, Porky Minch.
Well, pals, it’s only been twelve weeks since our last Weekly Roundup. Apologies are in order, especially since, as this website continues to flourish, I wouldn’t want to miss even dream of missing a single roundup. Compacting a lengthy series of whiffed excuses into a something singular, I can only express that a routine is difficult to adhere to when you’re first starting out. No matter the weather or where I’m at in life following this point henceforth, I, Jonathan Frahm, vow to update my website on a consistent basis. We shall begin with actually weekly Weekly Roundups.
My weekly roundup of articles I’ve had published includes the world premiere of Engelbert Humperdinck’s first-ever music video over at PopMatters, an interview with singer-songwriter Horace Holloway, and Lister and I’s next installment in our Super Cast Bros. podcast.
